1. Who we are
This notice explains how Money Wise Services Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through this website and in the course of our business. We are the controller of that data.

2. What personal data we collect
- Enquiry details you give us through the contact form, by email or by phone: your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in and your message.
- Client information if you engage us: contact details of the people we work with, and business information you share with us that may include personal data about your staff, customers or suppliers.
- Technical data: when you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records basic server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
We do not ask for special category data (such as health information) and ask that you do not include it in your enquiry.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange an introductory conversation — legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us), or steps prior to entering a contract at your request.
- To deliver our services and manage our relationship with clients — performance of a contract.
- To keep business, accounting and tax records — legal obligation.
- To operate and secure the website — legitimate interests.
We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision-making, or add you to marketing lists without your agreement.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the business, acting on our instructions:
- Formspree — processes and forwards contact form submissions to us.
- Google Workspace — our email provider.
- Netlify — hosts this website.
- Google Fonts — supplies the fonts used on this website; your browser connects to Google's servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
We may also share data with professional advisers (such as our accountants or lawyers), or where required by law.
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards permitted under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
- Client records: kept for 6 years after the end of the engagement, to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, then securely deleted.
- Server logs: kept for the hosting provider's standard period, typically no more than 30 days.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data;
- object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask for your data in a portable format, where applicable.

7. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tracking.
8. Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
9. Complaints

10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
